The Tongue never rots!

Words are important aspect in our language. I have said it many a time and I want to reiterate that they are the deadliest weapon one could ever have in his/her arsenal. The tongue, in our local proverb, they say never rots. It is also important to know that the tongue has no bones yet capable of breaking and crippling hearts. It can make or break. What would u be remembered for? Is it your "Hellos", your everyday "How are you?" greetings, the "you can do it" encouragements, the "Thank you and sorry" statements and the "I forgive you and let it go for peace sake" reliefs or the otherwise. I have had my own share of great people who have left indelible words on my mind. The wake up calls from Nana Ekow Ekyinaba in my academics, the optimism Richard Kojo Nyarko brings whenever we talk and the soothing encouragement from Nana Yaw Preko anytime I break down. What are you saying to others? Are they worth remembering? and when they do,will they force a smile on their faces? Say something positive to a colleague, your neighbour, that destitute and save a soul. You don't need to conjure a wonderful and brilliant quote to get into the history books, you need to say a word in someone's life.
