A wiseman once said "If you want a bigger opportunity, seek a bigger problem" -John C. Maxwell. Opportunities are embedded in the everyday problems of the world. As you seek and try solving these problems, opportunities are gradually unravelled. Many a time, we want to have our cake and eat it. We want opportunities to come knocking at our doors but don't want to seek the problems. Instead we slumber in our complaints and excuses whilst opportunities go begging. We have developed a penchant for complaints and excuses at the least problem or challenge we face forgetting that out of these problems comes opportunities. Complains and excuses put barriers and obscurities on the road to our success. Remember the story of the exodus from Egypt? God had to make their journey long by detouring them because of their murmurings against Him. God doesn't delight in the murmurings of his people. They lag progress and steal happiness in life. They incapacitate our will to do and put us in a false comfort zone. Shake your complaints off, stop giving those flimsy excuses and dare to do. Begin to improvise and be a problem solver, it is what defines a hero. You are endowed with capabilities greater than your problems. Keep digging to the core and surely you will meet that precious glittering opportunity you have long been yearning for.
